Dear Editor: I recently applied for a license to build a solar still.
After filing numerous forms, such as bonds, investigative information forms for inquiries into my background, environmental impact statements and a sheath of other items to obtain the license, my psychological energies were completely exhausted. After obtaining the license, I have done nothing further.
However, I would like to advise that a recent ad in the MARKET BULLETIN led to my purchasing some breeding stock of bronze breasted turkeys and some peacocks. They are doing quite well and have adapted to the field my solar still was to have been situated on, with great pleasure.
They are really very tame birds, and I have found them to be much more interesting than the alcohol problem. I do intend to keep my license, of course, and if my priorities change, I will let you know.

Beans & Things

3 cups cooked rice

1 stick of margarine

*1 can green beans

3/4-1 cup pasteurized processed

(2 cups) drained

cheese, cubed

1 can cream of mushroom soup Salt and pepper to taste

Combine above ingredients and place in a greased 1

1/2 quart casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes

or until it begins to bubble and brown at the edges. This

dish can be made ahead and refrigerated but add about

Following the close of the thirtyday voting period the ballots will be tabulated and the two nominees receiving the highest vote will then be considered for appointment by the ex-officio members.
The three producers appointed will serve three-year terms on the Board of the Tobacco Commission. A present board member may be reappointed, as long as his name goes through the same process of nomination and he receives the neces-
legumes, new wheat and sorghum varieties and weed control techniques for pasture. The new research will be started in 1980 and the first results should be available in 1982.
Many of the station's programs serve as a demonstration of technique as well as a source of research information. This information is made available to individuals or groups by telephone, visits to the station, tours and field days.
