Qbituary
Like a rose, people go through several stages o fgrowth. Mrs. Vernon, went through life in several stages, first, as a rosebudfull o f life and a beautiful sight to behold. That is how she was seen from the time wefirst me her, a rosebud just limiting to come forth in fu ll bloom.
Just as the petals o f a rosebud began to unfold, we can see, smell, touch and admire all o f its beauty. That is the kind o f impact Mrs. Vernon has on us here at Beulah Grove, the people o f CSRA and all o f those whose lives she touched in some way through the years. She was a gentle, kind-hearted, Christin woman who was a servant o fgod. We always smelled the sweetfragrance o f concern, care and love she hadfo r herfamily, her own church family, and herfellow man.
Unlike the rosebud, we cannot save or place her memories between the page o f a book, but we can and we shall store all o f our memories o f her in the crevices o f our hearts. Mrs. Vernon, in her own, quiet, sweet, gentle way did so much to show herself approved as she worked untiringly in this church and in this community. Just like the rose, after it has brought happiness, joy and so much beauty in so many ways to so many people, it reaches its last stages o f life. Oft times we decide to trick it away between the pages in one o f our favorite books as a special rose fo r memory sake. We fin d this same principle applicable fo r keeping and cherishing the memory o f Mrs. Vernon. We shall always remember her kindness, her faithfulness, her service, her dedica tion, her love and her Christianity.

I must go, I have no choice The calling is from God's own voice His voice I know, I've heard it oft
Now angels bare, my sold aloft. If you must greive, don't greive for me,
I must join God, Who sets me free My life was good, but now it's past The memories of my joy will last. Don't' let this sorrow, in you remain
For it is God who calls my name A friend I tried to be to all
Yet I must leave, for heaven calls. I loved life and all life shared
I cherished all the time spent there If I could have my way I'd stay But god is calling me away.
I laughed and cried as humans do But God has said my time is through these wings that bare my sold above
Are workers for this God o f love. Perhaps your life, what time you're there
For someday too your lot shall fall And you also, will hear God call.
