Smile Because Mother Lived
We can shed tears that Mother has gone, Or we can smile because she has lived. We can close our eyes and pray that she 'll come back Or we can open our eyes and see all sh e 's left. Our heart can be empty because we c a n 't see her Or we can be fu ll o f the love she shared We can turn our backs on tomorrow and live yesterday Or we can be happy fo r tomorrow because o fyesterday. We can remember her and only that she has gone Or we can cherish her memory and let it live on. We can cry, close our minds and turn our backs Or we can do what s h e 'd want, smile, open our eyes,
love and go on. Our love fo r you Dear Mother is not written on paper,
For that can be erased. Nor is our love fo r you etched in stone,
fo r stone can be broken. But our love fo r you is inscribed in our hearts,
where it shall remain forever.
With Sincere Love and Respect, Your Children: Harriet( Julian); Katheryn (John); Noble (Sheila); Glenda (Calvin)
