Gods Garden
God looked around his Garden and found an empty place. H e then looked down upon his earth and saw Nanny's loving face.
H e put his arms around Nanny and lifted her to rest. H is Garden must he beautiful, he always takes the best. H e knew that Nanny was suffering, he knew she was in pain.
A nd knew that Nanny would never get well on this side o f earth again.
H e saw Nanny's path was difficult, he closed her tired eyes, H e whispered to her "Peace be Thine"
and on June 23 at 1:35 Pm>he gave her wings to fly . It broke our hearts to lose Nanny, but you did not go alone.

Celebrating the Holidays

Friendship Women's Club

As many of you already know... our Mother, Mrs. Taylor, Loved to "Cook"!
W hat you don't know is that she had a "thing" for "Pots"! She looked at pots as most women looked at shoes-- Asking herself "What would cook best in this one", and "W hat would bake best in another" . She loved pots in every size, shape and color.
Her favorite baking pan was a square pan, that she used to bake pound cakes. She baked cakes for special friends and
many times stayed up late... Late, because she wanted to surprise them or even to celebrate a special day
Mrs. Taylor had no sense of time when it came to baking cakes! Very seldom did she part with her pots without
inscribing her initials M.S.T., Even though I was her daughter...she initialed everything she loaned to ME.
Sundays at her house were filled with lots of joy, And as soon as most people opened her door,
their first comment was "Oh Boy". W e would always ask her what the menu is today, And believe me she always answered us
in her very "sm art mouth w ay"...FOOD!!!H!
W e are going to miss our mom, her laughter and smart mouth too, But we will always cherish her memory and the fun things we
use to do... There really are too many pots for us to hold on to... Don't be surprised if you are her friend...if you have a pot delivered to you! W e're sharing them with friends and loved ones throughout the states,
!
Please take care of her pots...this would make our day! Margaret Bess Ju n e 2012
