Butfor a moment the trials and crosses, Weariness, trouble, and tears.
When we have passed through the valley ofshadows, Then, oh, what glory appears!
Glory outshining the sun in its splendor, Glory outweighing earths gold.
After the moment ofour light affliction, Glory eternal, unfold.
Joy, like the sunrise, -will come in the morning, Sorrow and sighing shall cease;
Moments are passing then life everlasting, Filled "with eternitys peace!
Butfor a moment to patiently trust Him Wait til the shadows are passed.
Butfor a moment, - look up and take courage Faith will bring visions at last.
