God grant me serenity to accept the things I cannot change Courage to change the things I can And wisdom to know the difference.

/4 Family Prayer
Oh, Lord, be gentle with her. Be merciful and kind;
For she wan loved so dearly By those she left behind. Walk slowly with her. Lord,
As you take her to the Promised Land. Stay ever by her side, Sing sweetly in her ears
And when she cries of missing m Gently wipe away her tears.
And, Lord, when what weve asked is done, We pray our hearts you II touch. And let her know we love her so, And we miss her just as much
The family of the late Edith Rebecca Johnson, wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the many friends who gave of their time and energy during our loved ones illness and during our bereavement. Words are inadequate to express our gratitude. May God richly bless each one of you as He blessed us by giving us Edith.

Ms. Edith Rebecca Johnson departed this life on February 13, 1996. She was born in Lincolnton, Georgia on June 28, 1914 to Mrs. Eula Mae Johnson and the late Pete F. Johnson. She was the first born of ten children.
REBECCA was converted and baptized at an early age and joined the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Later she moved to Augusta, where she joined the Greater Mount Canaan Baptist Church and she served faithfully until the Lord called upon her. She had been a member of the Senior Choir, Mothers Board, Sunday School Convention, and the Deacons Union of Georgia, and the Fair Deal Club.

There is a lady that I know

She drove a white Falcon, wherever she would go

i

She picked us up everyday from school

Thats my granny. She had her own rules

Everyday your lunch was packed and served whether it was tuna and crackers, fish sticks or Krystal burgers.

Obituary

Granny loved us all, no matter what Even though we drove her completely nuts! She baked pies and goodies, but the pound cake was the best. It would melt in your mouth, then you could rest.
Her love for us was the best of all Granny, even though you have gone to heaven on high
Don't worry about usfive for we'll do what you taught us and do it well
We will stay side by side and neverfail.
Maria, Edythe, Trevor, Lisa, and Bridgette
