TRIBUTE
I'm Free
Don't grieve for me, fo r now I'm free I'm following the path God laid fo r me I took His hand when I heard Him call,
I turned hack and left it all. I could not stay another day To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that peace at the close o f the day. I f my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss. Oh yes, these things I, too will miss. Be not burdened with times o f sorrow, I wish you the sunshine o f tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much, Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don't lengthen it now with undo grief. Lift up your heart and share with me: God wanted me now, He set me free.

OBITUARY
"There's an open gate at the end o f the road, through which each goes alone; and there is God's light where no eye can see, our Father claims his own "
During the quiet morning hours on Monday, February 23, 1998 at Columbia Augusta Medical Center in Augusta, Ga., Hannah Jean Glover Jackson saw a light of glory and began her journey home. Jean took three steps to heavenout of self; into a beautiful life in Christ; into Glory where there is no more weeping, no sorrow, or no disappoint ment, for we know she is satisfied. She has now fulfilled her purpose; although her family and friends may weep a while, they should rejoice with her and thank our heavenly Father for the life she lived among us and for taking her to the land of glory as He has promised all the faithful.
Hannah Jean was the youngest daughter of the late Augustus and Sallie Lue Henley Glover, bom November 10,1948 in Saluda County. She was a life long resident of Saluda, SC.
She as a member of Lockhart Baptist Church, serving as a faithful member, enjoyed singing on the choir, past coordi nator of the choirs and working in other various organiza tions in the church. Jean was also a member of the #2 Community Club where she enjoyed working with people. She received her education from Riverside High School and Piedmont Technical College. She was once employed by Monsanto Plant in Greenwood, SC and last employed by American Federal Bank until her declining health.
She was United into Holy Wedlock to Leonard Jackson. Precious memories will linger on in the hearts of her love ones: a husband, Leonard E. Jackson of the home; two sisters, Lizzie Williams of Roslyn, Pa. and Vera Burt of Saluda, SC; four brothers Bennie F. Henley, St. Louis, MO; Joe A. Glover, of Wilson, NC, Augustus Glover, Jr. and Hampton H. Glover both of Columbia, SC; an uncle, JB Coats; a mother-in-law, Clemontine Jackson of Johnston, SC; five sisters-in-law; eight brothers-in-law;

"We Love You"
My dearest loveone Although you're gone You fought a good light You were always strong
God knows we're going to miss you God knows that you are blessed For you have made it home at last And now you will finally rest.
God doesn't make no mistakes This is something we know
You don't have to suffer no more I'm saddened you had to go
All of your heartaches and pains Are rapped in the arms of the Lord It was time for your ship to dock And you happily climbed aboard.
Words could never explain The love we have for you Our love will last forever Jean, we're going to miss you.
You put joy in our life The memories are forever in our hearts
No one can take your place Although we are apart.
Rest my dear Hannah Jean You are now at home
You are with our creator You will never be alone
We love you, Husband, Sisters & Brothers
