Obituary
God saw the road was getting rough, The hills so hard to climb. He gently closed her loving eyes And whispered, "Peace be thine. "
So in the stillness of the evening of Saturday, March 7, 1992, Sister Mary Bell Graham left this life to join her Heavenly Father and loved ones who had gone before her.
She was born in Saluda County, a daughter of the late Isaiah and Lillie Williams Graham.
At an early age, she joined the Rock Hill Baptist Church. She migrated to Philadelphia, Pa. While living there she attended the Nazarene Baptist Church.
She leaves behind her freed from grief and years, far more worthier things than tears: the love of family and friends. W e will miss her, but we know G od's will must be done.
Pleasant memories will linger on in the hearts of her three daughters, Mary Helen Johnson, Vera Barnes and Louise Etheredge, all of Philadelphia, Pa.; three sons, Eddie Roy Graham of Saluda, S.C., Cooper Graham and Robert Graham of Philadelphia, Pa.; twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gaynell McCrary, Springfield, 111., and Jackie Wills, Chicago, 111.; one brother, Robert Graham, Philadelphia, Pa.; four daughtersin-law; one son-in-law; one sister-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and a host o f nieces, nephews, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
Humbly submitted, The Family

Resting
Once my hands were always trying, Trying hard to do my best;
Now my heart is sweetly trusting, And my soul is all at rest.
Once my brain was always planning, And my heart, with cares oppressed;
Now 1trust the Lord to lead me, And my life is all at rest.
Once my life was full of effort, Now 'tis full of joy and zest;
Since 1took His yoke upon me, Jesus gives to me his rest. A. B. Simpson
