Ms. Domonique Charisse Godbee is the first bom child of Timothy Godbee and Kimberly Henderson Godbee. She was born on January 30,1987 in Tucson, Arizona and was called home to be with the Lord on September 22, 2005 at the tender age of 18.
She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized during a Watch Night service on December 31,1999. She sang in the youth and children's choirs for many years and was involved in youth ministries.
Domonique traveled to many parts of the world while her father served in the United States Air Force. She has resided in Arizona, North Carolina, Alaska, and England. She was also privileged to visit Florida, California, Texas, Jamaica, and Germany on vacations.
Domonique was a graduate of the class of 2005 from Palo Verde Magnet High School, Tucson, Arizona with honors. She was a member of the Drama Club, Advanced Choir, Marching and Concert Bands. The trumpet was her instmment of choice and she excelled as Rank Leader. Domonique enjoyed her high school years and was very popular among her peers. She studied the martial art of Tae Kwon Do for three years and earned a red belt ranking.
Domonique was enrolled at Augusta Technical College and was due to start the Fall Semester on today.
Cherishing fond memories along with her parents are: her sister Doriane Elizabeth Godbee and brother, Timothy Drake Godbee. Her grandparents, William and Virginia Henderson. Her Aunts and Uncles Karen Wheeler, Kevin Henderson, Keith and wife Rosalyn Henderson, Eleanor and husband Robert Hopson, Yvonne and husband Robert Walker, Ralph and wife Shirley Godbee, Sheila Godbee, Marilyn Heath, Ardie and husband Rudy Brooks, Ethel and husband Tony Smith, Raymond Godbee, and Elizabeth Godbee. She is also loved and will be missed by a host of cousins and friends.
