M rs. CollieJean Patterson Easton wae born on October 4,1943,
in Stapleton, Jefferson County Georgia to the late Willie Harris Avera and Daisy L. Avera. She departed th is life on March 2 4 ,2 0 0 4 a t the Augusta Hills Rehabilitation Center.
Collie was educated in the Richmond County School System and graduated from Lucy C. Laney High School in 1962. Her life's work was in the field of Health Care. She was employed as a Nursing A ssista n t a t the Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home and a t Brandon Wilde Retirement Center.
She accented Christ a t an early age and joined the Beulah Grove Chruch Family on June 19,1994.
She leaves to cherish her memory seven sisters, Mozell Seabrooks (Elijah), Christine Goodaon (James), B etty Wheeler (Bobby), Bobbie Jean Lane (James), Sarah Jackson (Harold), Girdie Thomas (Earl), and Yvonne Foxx; two brothers, Willie Henry Avera (Audrey) and Willie Avera; one son, Wayne Williams (Tonya); three grandchildren, Sharmar Williams, Tamlea Williams, and Dewayne Williams; three great-grandchildren; one maternal aunt, Girdie Lee Leland (George), Banning, California; three paternal aunts, two paternal uncles, and a host of nieces and nephews.
