I 'd like the memory o f me to be a happy one.
I 'd like to leave an after glow o f smiles when life is done.
I 'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, O fhappy times and laughing times
and bright and sunny days.
I 'd like the tears o f those who grieve, to dry before the sun o f happy memories
that I leave when life is done.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish,
but have everlasting life. "
- John 3:16
Eveline Banks Brown was born July 24, 1939 in Smoaks, SC. She was the daughter of the late Sinkem Banks and Janie Davis. She was summoned by God's Heavenly Angels on Saturday, March 3, 2007.
Eveline was a member of Leslie Steward Church and received her education from the public schools of Dorchester County.
She leaves to cherish fond memories: five daughters, Julia Banks of Brooklyn, NY, Deloris Banks of Summerville, SC, Ada Bell Banks and Nora Banks, both of St. George, SC, and Janie Banks Johnson of North Charleston, SC; one son, Elijah Banks of St. George, SC; one sister, Ada M. (Willie) Spivey of Augusta, GA; two brothers, William Ed (Susanna) Samuel of Eau Gallie, FL and Jeff Samuel; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Jesus said, "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in
God, believe also in Me. In my Father's house are many
mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to
prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place fo r you,
I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am,
there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye
know. "
-- John 14:1-4
A Mother's love is something that no one can explain,
It is made o f deep devotion and o f sacrifice and pain, It is endless and unselfish and enduring come what may For nothing can destroy it or take that love away... It is patient andforgiving when all others areforsaking, And it neverfails orfalters even though the heart is breaking... It believes beyond believing when the world around condemns, And it glows with all the beauty o f the rarest, brightest gems... It isfar beyond defining, it defies all explanation, and it still remains a secret like the mysteries o f creation... A many-splendored miracle
man cannot understand And another wondrous evidence o f
God's tender guiding hand. --Helen Steiner Rice
