M y Father's way may twist and turn, M y heart may throb and ache; But in my soul I'm glad I know, H e maketh no mistake.
There's so much now I cannot see, M y eyesight's far too dim;
But come what may I'll simply trust, And leave it all to Him.
For by and by the mist will lift, And plain it all He'll make;
Throughout all the ways, though dark to me, He made not one mistake.
Perhaps you telephoned or visited during the hour of dismay; perhaps you sent a dish of food to help us on the way; perhaps you said a silent prayer that God might see us through; perhaps you gave us words of comfort, as only friends can do; perhaps you sent a funeral spray, potted plant, or lovely bouquet; perhaps you sent a telegram or traveled from miles away. Whatever you did to console our grieved hearts, we shall be forever grateful, whatever the part.

D on't grieve for m e, for now I'm f r e e ,
I'm follow ing th e path God laid for m e. I TOOK HIS HAND WHEN I HEARD HIS CALL, I TURNED MY BACK AND LEFT IT ALL. I COULD NOT STAY ANOTHER DAY, TO LAUGH, TO LOVE, THE WORK, TO PLAY. Tasks l e ft undone must stay that way.
I've found that pea ce at th e close of th e day.
If my parting has l e f t a void,
Then fill it w ith rem em bered joy. A FRIENDSHIP SHARED, A LAUGH, A KISS,
Ah y es, th ese things I too w ill miss. Be not burdened w it h tim es of sorrow.
I WISH YOU THE SUNSHINE OF TOMORROW.
My l if e 's been fu l l , I savored m u ch ,
Good fr ien d s, good t im es, a loved one's to u c h . Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
D on't len g th en it now w ith undue g rief. Lift up your heart and share w ith m e,
C od wanted me now, He set me f r e e .
