in Jewel, Georgia to the late Oblee, Sr. and Mary Andrews.

He entered into rest April 8, 2008, at Heartland Hospice.

He was preceded in death by a daughter; Faye Reese.

Mr. Andrews was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church of Augusta, Georgia.

He was a retired employee of Georgia Iron Works of Grovetown, Georgia.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving wife, Mrs. Lucille Andrews; four sons, Carl (Patricia) Andrews Sr, Richard Andrews of Augusta, Georgia; Antaun (Lenore) Andrews of North Augusta, South Carolina and Efrem Andrews of Augusta, Georgia; three daughters, Valerie Douglas, Myra (Thomas) Moss of Augusta, Georgia and Vanessa (Lecola) Mungo of McDonough, Georgia; two brothers-inlaw, Charles Bryant and John Elarris of Augusta, Georgia; two aunts, Clara Ellison and Geraldine Smith of Augusta, Georgia; twenty-six grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
