- Among pediatric surgeries, organ transplant is not as common. Due to it's high risk and specificity, children are significantly less likely to receive donated organs then adults. Studies suggest, that in addition to restored health, organ donation also results in transference of behavior and personality from organ donor to recipient. Although research regarding this transfer among adults is being actively investigated, very few studies focus on the transfer of behavior and personality to children who receive donated organs. This study seeks to determine if behavior and personality characteristics of donors can be transferred and manifested in recipient patients.
