- Description:
- This study examines how the Cuban government utilized Medical Diplomacy as foreign policy. The research explores how Cuba used medical diplomacy as a form of soft power to sustain their economy, establish medicine and education domestically, and establish foreign relationships. Joseph Nye's soft power theory was used to understand Cuba's approach to establishing foreign relationships. Based on the results of this analysis, Cuba has managed to impact many countries within the global south with their system of Medical diplomacy.
