- Description:
- Research literature suggests Federal TRiO Upward Bound (STEM) Programs, as and other Supplemental Academic Programs are constantly being weighed in the balance for value and efficacy. Students' perception of STEM coursework, students career aspirations, educators' perceptions of STEM and STEM educators pool are scrutinized. Congress and policymakers are trying to identify funds to shift away from economically disadvantaged school districts. This study investigates emerging themes on the integration of STEM Supplemental Academic Programs (SAPs) into or alongside of educational curriculum. It attempts to present data of how integrated SAPs are designed, implemented, analyzed, and understood to advance education and improve STEM awareness.
