- Description:
- The purpose of this study was to examine the challenges disabled students experience while studying at Saudi universities. The study found that students were having challenges when it came to getting around campus and being allowed extended time for tests and assignments. Faculty requested more training focused on teaching students with disabilities. Based on the findings, the researcher recommended several strategies for improving the experiences of disabled students in Saudi Universities. These recommendations include improving campus accessibility for disabled students, more training for using technology when teaching students with disabilities, and increased oversight from the Ministry of Education in the area of accommodations provided for students with disabilities.
