- Description:
- This study examined the effects of therapeutic group homes on abused and neglected children ages six to sixteen. The study is based on the premise that therapeutic group home programs have positive effects on the children who reside in them. The conclusions drawn from the findings suggest that after children entered therapeutic group home settings, there were significant improvements in their behavior, schoolwork, grades, and improvements in how well the children were fed, clothed, and cared for.
