- Description:
- This study examined how factors related to technology resources in selected elementary, middle and high schools. Respondents included 462 teachers and 25 administrators. Significant differences were identified at the .05 level of significance and in some cases, at the .01 level of significance. The purpose of this study was to establish the relationship between factors that affect technology resources in selected schools. A review of the literature found that administrators and teachers technology skill level, administrators and teachers technology usage level, socioeconomic status, the number of educational partners, school size, and school type related to technology resources. The findings in this study suggested that there were relationships between technology resources and teachers technology skills level. There was also a relationship in technology resources and the number of educational partners, as well as schools infrastructure. There was a difference in the relationship between technology resources and some of the independent variables in terms of school size and school type. However, in this study, schools socioeconomic status did not influence technology resources in selected schools.
