- Description:
- The purpose of this study was to assess and describe the level of social support, self-esteem and life satisfaction among adult schizophrenic outpatients from the point of view of the recovering schizophrenic patient. A total of 15 males and 15 females from the agency, Bright Beginnings, Inc., agreed to participate in the study. Sample descriptive statistics and Pearson's r were used to analyze the data. The findings of this study accepted three aspects of the hypothesis that there was a statistical significant relationship between social support, self-esteem and life satisfaction among this population.
