- Description:
- This study examined the effects of 10 sessions of cognitive therapeutic techniques on depression. A single system design was utilized to carry out this study. The Beck Depression Inventory was administered to measure the severity of clinical depression on a single client in a correctional population. The BDI was administered during the baseline, intervention, and follow-up phases. It was statistically demonstrated that cognitive therapeutic techniques produced clinically significant reductions in the client's reported levels of depression.
