- Description:
- The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between co-dependency characteristics and self-actualization values of selected Co-Dependent Recovery Program recipients. The Survey Design was used. The subjects were 112 individuals who were attending Co-Dependent Anonymous meetings in a large South East metropolitan city. The Personal Orientation Inventory (POI) was the self-actualization measure. The Friel Co-Dependency Assessment Inventory (FRIEL) was the co-dependency measure. The data analysis using Pearson Product Moment Correlation and Stepwise Multiple Regression was performed. The findings revealed that a significant relationship exists between self-actualization values and co-dependency scores.
