- This study examines performance appraisals advantages, disadvantages, goals, techniques and problems. Performance appraisal is a procedural system that links employees and supervisors with management. Studies show that when performance appraisals are well administered and supervised, they are key factors to the increase of productivity and serve as enhancers of employee effectiveness and morale. In writing this paper, a wide range of information was used. The main sources of information were textbooks, unpublished materials and journals.
