Description:
Abstract: We calculate sone exact solutions to the linear,delayed, unidirectional wave equation using the method of separation-of-variables and an exponential type ansatz. Some important features of these solutions are indicated and their stabilities are examined. An order-four Taylor series is determined for the exponential-type solutions where the expansion is in terms of the delay parameter. Some brief comments on the delayed diffusion and other physical based equations are also given.
