- This video features footage of events from the SCLC/WOMEN Civil Rights Heritage Tour held on March 5-6, 2005, the 40th Anniversary of the Selma to Montgomery March. This video begins with remarks from tour participants followed by a visit to Kelly Ingram Park, a banquet, and visits to the historical markers for James Orange, Jimmie Lee Jackson, and Viola Liuzzo. This video also includes the unveiling of the historical marker for Reverend James J. Reeb and the Civil Rights Freedom Wall in Selma, Alabama. This video concludes with participants marching across the Edmund Pettus Bridge where Joseph E. Lowery gives remarks followed by the unveiling of the Marie Foster and Amelia Boynton "Mothers of the Movement" memorial. At the service, Amelia Boynton speaks about how the civil rights movement must continue.
