- Description:
- Recording opens with a prayer for the congregation and Dell. A man invites the congregation to read John 1:1-3 together, followed by song Lift Them Up. A man talks about how facial expressions can communicate a message and that people should show their happiness with Jesus through their face, and that people that preach the bible should live by the bible. A choir then sings How Great Thou Art. Dell talks about the difficulties of following through with ones impressions of the word of God. He talks about how all scripture is not the word of God, but influenced by God, and that is it not just the bible. He speaks on the universal, infallible, and eternal word of God, and tells the story of Ezekiel in the desert. He asks the congregation to tithe; comparing it to the actions of Jesus and to tithe is honoring the word of God. He tells the congregation that they are too far from the word of God and they need to get closer in a call and response.
