- Description:
- Reverend Ernest Ammon (1912-2003) attended Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and went on to teach. He was later ordained as a Baptist minister and pastored various churches in Saline County, Illinois. This audio recording was from a series called, The Chapel Upstairs. This series consists of a number of selections from the chapel choir as well as a 5-10 minute mini-sermon from a select speaker. In this particular recording, Rev. Ammon references a prayer from the Biblical book of Philippians. He asks the audience to be quick to learn and slow to condemn.
