Every Ogu Clan has clan praise. The praise combines poetry and ancestral history and accomplishments put in succinct words. The Clan praise is a universal identity and a common thread that binds kinship. In addition, it is used to appeal to individuals during conflict resolution just as it is used to commend an individual for accomplishments that make the Clan or family proud. - External Identifiers:
