The family of Branden "Big B" Tinch extends a heartfelt "thank you" for your many acts of kindness shown during our time of need. Perhaps you sang a song or just sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you spoke a kind word of prayer or sent food or was just there. Whatever you did to console our hearts, we thank you so much. Special thanks to the Pointer Ridge Subdivision Community family.

Don't grieve for me for now I'm free. I'm following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard Him call,
I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks undone must stay that way, I found that place at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh a kiss, Ah, yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, Look towards the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much, Good friends, good times, my loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free.

NEW GRANT CHAPEL A.M.E. CHURCH
1319 Holcomb Avenue East Point, Georgia Reverend Chekibe C."-"WPn Pastor Reverend Tony Williams Officiating
Branden Jondre Tinch "Big B" was born to the late Robin Jones and Erwin Tinch of East Point, Georgia. Branden was a quiet, loving little boy who loved his Daddy (Pop) Duke and little brother, Hoodie. He was reared in East Point, Georgia where Auntie Rozina lived. He often went for a ride on his tricycle to her house. Branden loved going to Auntie's house. Pop Duke would often look for him, finding him at Auntie's. Later, the family moved to the Pointer Ridge Subdivision. He attended S.L. Lewis Elementary, Ronald E. McNair and Creekside High School. Branden loved work, even at an early age. He started a lawn service, mowing lawns, raking leaves and doing odd jobs for the neighbors and riding with Pop Duke in the big truck. Branden also had a love for the Lord and helping His people. Branden joined the church and was baptized under the leadership of Dr. W.W. Williams at New Life Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. Branden also sang in the Youth Choir when he attended Union Missionary Baptist Church, East Point, Georgia, and Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, were he was friends with the Bishop H.P. Johnson. He attended Sunday School and Morning Worship along with Pop Duke every Sunday. Later, Pop Duke started the River Edge Fellowship Ministries in Union City where Branden served as the Presider in the morning (running the service), an Usher, Jr. Deacon, praying and reading Scripture. Branden was sent to earth as a fisherman for the Lord, fishing and reeling in souls for the Lord. Braden loved God so much that he wanted all his friends to know this Man he knew named Jesus-that -no matter what you have done, Jesus will forgive. Branden would often come to church with plenty of lost souls for the harvest. Some fish he cleaned, some he didn't, but he kept trying. When Branden was employed with Morrison at Grady, he enjoyed helping and servicing the people. The staff and visitors would say he was a well-mannered young man who had respect for all. Branden not only showed respect on the job but in the neighborhood. Whatever you were struggling with, be it shelter, food, rent, a place to stay, toys for children, he did his best to provide, even to strangers. Big B had a big, big heart and loved you where you were. . Whether a drunk, junkie, homeless didn't matter, you were God's people to him. If you missed him during this lifetime, you will see him again when the gates swing open. He may be at the door or in the choir, but he'll be there somewhere waiting for you in the sky. So live on, dream on, but accept the Lord Jesus before you die. As you enter the gate, "Big B" and Hoodie will be waiting at the gate. Love Ma & Pop Duke
Branden leaves to cherish his memory a loving a devoted father, Pastor Erwin Skip Tinch; a loving and devoted stepmother, Schenita D.
