JOHN CHAMBLEE MANGUM was born in Ha 1 1 County, Gainesville, Georgia on October 15, 1919, to the late Leola and Andrew Mangum.
MR. MANGUM resided in Fulton County,
Georgia, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Gainesville, Georgia.
JOHN CHAMBLEE MANGUM crossed the threshold to a larger life on Tuesday, June 2, 1987, after an extended illness.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a devoted wife, Mrs. Sarah Mangum; one daughter, Ms. Theresa Mangum Palmer; one first cousin, Mrs. Jennie Harris, Gainesville, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends; two devoted friends; Mr. Clarence Boles of Atlanta, Ga. and Mr. Nelson Wright of Long Island, New york.
When evening comes and the shadows fall~ And me we 1ove must answer the call; God~ giVe us strength in our hearts to say:
