A TRUE FRIEND
A true friend you were from the start, You came into our lives and won our hearts.
A part of our family you became, You were like the melody of the song
that the little sparrows sing. You put so much joy into our hearts, You were a true friend sent from God. You were special to us in every way, We will miss hearing your laughter And all the funny things you use to say. Why did you leave us, only God knows, We will cherish you forever and our
Love will continue to grow. You have gone to your new home in that distance land,
We know you are safe because you are Now resting in God's hands.
When you left - you took a big part of us too, We will cherish you forever because
There will never be no one who can compare to you. Our hearts are filled with hurt and pain, Our eyes are filled with tears,
Your brought so much fun to our family down through the years. As we say out last good byes -
Knowing you don't want us to hurt nor cry. We love you Poinsettia, and we miss you too,
We know we will never find a true Friend like the true friend we had in you.
