OBITUARY
Robert Lee Dennis was born to the parentage of the late Rev. . and Mrs. William Dennis on July 30, 1913 in Madison, Georgia.
He attended school in Madison. At an early age, he joined the New Enon Baptist Church in Godfrey, Ga.
He moved to Macon as a young adult. He was a veteran of the US Navy and was retired from the Railway Express Agency.
Later he became affiliated with the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church where he was a Sunday School Teacher, a member of the Board of Deacons and worked with both the Boy and Girl Scout troops of the Church.
Mr. Dennis is survived by a devoted wife, Mrs. Eloise Dowdell Dennis, two daughters, Miss Juanita L. Dennis, Macon, Ga. and Mrs. Jacquelyn Wilder, Atlanta, Ga., two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Moore, Madis~n, Ga., and Mrs. Minnie Carter, Madison, Ga., one brother, Mr. Johnny Dennis, Madison, Ga., three grandchildren, Robert, Ingrid and Arneethia Wilder, Atlanta, Ga., one son-in-law, Amos Wilder, Jr., Atlanta, Ga., brothers and sisters-in-law, Mr. Amos Moore and Mrs. Catherine Dennis, Madison, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. Felton Irvin, Camden, S.C., devoted cousins, Mr. and Mrs. J .B. Folds, Conyers, Ga. and a host of other devoted relatives and friends.
