"GOD SAW"
God saw the road was getting rough; the hills were hard to climb. He gently closed those loving eyes, and whispered,""Peace Be Thine." The weary hours, the days of pain, the sleepless nights are passed.
The ever patient, worn out frame has found sweet rest at last.

REFLECI'IONS OF LIFE
Freddie Mae Walton
"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
A Time To Live
Mrs. Freddie Walton Booth was born March 22, 1935, in Stewart County, Georgia to the late Jessie Walton and Georgia Brown Walton. Mrs. Booth accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at Mount Moriah Baptist Church Omaha, Georgia at an early age.
Mrs. Booth was educated in the Stewart County School System. After graduating from high school, she attended Savannah State College in Savannah, Georgia. After moving to Columbus, Georgia, she would fellowship with Friendship Baptist Church, but, continued her service to God at Mount Moriah Baptist Church.
In the early sixties, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia. She walked to a neighboring church where she enjoyed the fellowship and the little preacher as she call him (Reverend H.M. Smith). Being a child of God and a believer of the word of God (Church Covenant), Freddie united with Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church. After moving to another side of town, she and her son, Walter would ride the bus across town to get to Mount Sinai. Since the nineteen sixties, she served faithfully on the Willing Workers, Hospitality Committee where she shared her hobby of cooking and baking, and the March Club. Her most dedicated service to God was being a member of the HMS Chorus, where she used her melodious voice for the Lord. She would sing and never get tired. Like Jesus, she would never say no when asked to sing on any occasion.
Mrs. Booth started her nursing career in the late sixties. Studying at Atlanta Technical College through Southside Comprehensive Health Care and Grady Memorial Hospital where she retired after more than twenty years.
