It fought in many campaigns until 1961, when it was merged into The Queen’s Own Highlanders (Seaforth and Camerons).  This card is one of a series of 82 depicting statuettes made in the 1930s.  They were replicas of the carved wooden models designed by Charles d’Orville Pilkington Jackson (1887-1973) for the opening of the Scottish United Services Museum in 1933.
