The picture shows a street view of a multi storied building. It is located on the corner of Washington and College Street, caddy cornered to the old Wesleyan College. It opened in 1923, although its cornerstone was laid four years earlier. Text on reverse: Washington Memorial Library, given to the City of Macon by Mrs., E.W. Bellamy and equipped in 1924 by the Junior Chamber of Commerce. It is located a few blocks from the downtown district and is just across the street from Wesleyan College.
