Next, reporter Bebe Emerman interviews people in the shelter. The first interview is with a young girl. She is asked why she and her mother evacuated. The girl answers that they were scared their house might be flooded. Ms. Emerman interviews an elderly man about leaving the island just before the causeway was closed to traffic. After this, there are shots of boats docked in the rough ocean waters. Following this, Bebe Emerman reports on the danger of the causeway being flooded. This is followed by more shots of cars passing through flooded streets, rough waters in the ocean, and people boarding up houses. Ms. Emerman then returns to the shelter where she interviews another gentleman about evacuating the island and coming to the shelter. After this, there are more clips of Ms. Emerman talking to the young girl and older gentleman she talked to earlier.
