Countdown. Title sequence. Black slug. Segment one: Arrival by boat at Maine property, 0:21. A boat floats in water next to some small islands of rock. They keep floating past the rocks. The boat turns toward the camera as it goes back the other way toward a dock. The man in the front (Oswald Yorke) jumps out of the boat to tie it to the dock before helping the woman (Annie Russell) out. They walk up the stairs of the dock toward land. Trees obscure them partially. They wave at the camera as they get closer. They stop at the base of a house before walking opposite directions. A white dog. Annie Russell walks up the stairs of the house. Oswald Yorke walks up the stairs with the newspaper and holding a dog by a leash. He reads the paper and smokes a pipe. Russell walks into the house to get Yorke a letter. They walk down the stairs together as Yorke heads off with the dog and letter. There are large trees surrounding the house. Russell walks along the porch and talks to the camera. She goes into the house. She then walks through a gate in the yard. The gate leads to a garden. There are chairs and a table to eat at. A tree has fallen over near the water. There are many islands close by. Some of the trees block the view. Yorke and Russell stand together outside. They joke around for the camera before grabbing hands and walking onto the porch together. Yorke walks through the trees with a rifle. He looks around and walks toward the house. Russell comes to the doorway before walking down the steps with a dog. The dog runs to Yorke. Yorke and Russell walk into the plants together. Women in maid uniforms walk around the outside of the house with trays and packages in their hands. They serve tea to Yorke and Russell sitting at the table in the garden.
