- A black and white image of children playing at Chinquapin Plantation. Chinquapin Plantation was built in 1910 by philanthropist John F. Archbold, heir to the Standard Oil Fortune. The plantation is located overlooking the Ochlocknee River and encompasses over 1,318 acres of land. The main house alone is 18,000 sq. feet, and part of the property has been made into a state park.
