This time capsule is located at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia. Many reels of microfilm and sound recordings were placed in the vault, and electric microreaders and projectors were placed in the vault to ensure that the openers of the crypt could see and hear these records. Artifacts cover the floor of the vault. The crypt's interior resembles a pyramid chamber, and pictographs decorate the walls.</dc:description><dc:format>image/jpeg</dc:format><dc:relation>http://www.georgiaencyclopedia.org/articles/history-archaeology/crypt-civilization</dc:relation><dc:relation>http://www.georgiaencyclopedia.org/articles/history-archaeology/time-capsules</dc:relation><dc:relation>Forms part of: New Georgia Encyclopedia</dc:relation><dc:rights>http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/UND/1.0/</dc:rights><dc:source>http://www.georgiaencyclopedia.org/articles/history-archaeology/crypt-civilization</dc:source><dc:source>http://www.georgiaencyclopedia.org/articles/history-archaeology/time-capsules</dc:source><dc:source>Forms part of: New Georgia Encyclopedia</dc:source><dc:subject>Time capsules--Georgia--Atlanta</dc:subject><dc:subject>Picture-writing--Georgia--Atlanta</dc:subject><dc:subject>Microfilms</dc:subject><dc:subject>Sound recordings--Georgia--Atlanta</dc:subject><dc:subject>Antiquities--Collection and preservation</dc:subject><dc:subject>Oglethorpe University (Atlanta, Ga.)</dc:subject><dc:title>Crypt of Civilization</dc:title><dc:type>StillImage</dc:type></oai_dc:dc>
