The church addressed charges against members for circulating defamatory reports and charges against multiple individuals for intoxication with “ardent spirits.” The church sought reconciliation among its members and appointed committees to handle disputes, adopt rules to maintain decorum, and grant formal letters of dismission to church members. With these actions, the church demonstrated a commitment to upholding its principles while fostering fellowship and addressing issues of personal conduct within the congregation.
