A side view of the beautiful White Sulphur Springs Hotel, also called Oconee White Sulphur Springs. The spring had been a noted health resort for more than half a century. The hotel had wide porches, double parlors, a dining room to accommodate about one hundred people, and many bedrooms with private baths, sleeping porches, numerous cottages each with running water, electric lights and baths.
