He talks about rural economic development, compensation of public officials, and the controversy over changing the Georgia state flag.</dc:description><dc:description>Ray Holland is an attorney who served in the Georgia House from 1989-2003. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1974 with a degree in political science and from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1977. During his time in the house he represented District 136 (Worth, Turner, and Lee counties) and then District 157 (Worth, Turner, and Tift counties). In the General Assembly he served on the Appropriations Committee, the Rules Committee, the Legislative and Congressional Reapportionment Committee, the Special Rules (Policy) Committee, the Agriculture and Consumer Affairs Committee, and the Governmental Affairs Committee.
