Peterson spent half of his childhood in Ailey, Ga and Washington, DC. After going to Yale University and Harvard Law School, Peterson served as an officer in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps of the US Army. Peterson then joined the law firm of King and Spalding in Atlanta.
