To His Excellency G. R. Gilmer 
Dear Sir, 
My health has been 
very bad for a few days. this morning I am 
better. I hope to have been able, see you at Athens 
but shall not. - I wished to know if your Excellency 
has fixed on the time to Commence the Survey of 
the Florida line, or when it is probable I should be 
called upon, to do that work.
