Franklin. Maybe the enclosed will clue you in on the local poetry scene. Having been gone so long I find myself out of touch with the newest groupings. But I see Intersection has a new space, and I also see that the main places have their dates already full for August. The Bound Together Bookstore on Haight St is a center for radical faeries and anarchist dreamers where they hold Faerie Circles every Thursday at 8 and where readings happen at odd times (did one once). There are also 'open' reading places, but I don't know where the most sympathetic audiences would be. I'm out in the country far from the city this month so connections are tenuous. But there are many lively spots and bookstores you should visit while you are out here. I spoke to Charles this morning. Looking into my dusty crystal ball I observed that February was a bit of a misplaced choice for Georgia. So I proposed April. The first week, the week after Easter. I hope the proposal works out. I would enjoy coming to Atlanta again. I will expect to hear from you next month. Blessings.
