Date-stamped: "MAY 31 1972." Photographer identified as Bill Mahan. The statue was a gift to Atlanta from the French government in memory of the 1962 Orly Field plane crash. Later the statue was moved to the grounds of the High Museum of Art. Les Trois Ombres, a sculpture of three figues, of which this is one, was finished sometime before 1886.
