Dean Bailey's Philosophy of Education God created man in his own image. Intellectual curiosity is one of the manifestations of our divine nature. The deepest purpose of education is to feed the man's intellectual nature, to stimulate his curi- osity and then add to his mind information and ideas and ideals. The purpose of Christian Educa- , tion is not only to feed the intellect, but to induce the man to think of himself as a member of God's family, with family responsibilities and privileges the responsibility to serve, the privilege of living in fellowship with the Source of all wisdom" and truth.
