The mansion was built in 1967, and designed by architect Thomas Bradbury. It is located on West Paces Ferry Road in the Buckhead section of Atlanta, Georgia. The facility on West Paces Ferry Road is the third location for the Governor's Mansion after the state capitol moved to Atlanta from Milledgeville in 1868. The first two Atlanta structures were located on Cain Street (now International) and the second in the Ansley Park neighborhood.</dc:description><dc:format>image/jpeg</dc:format><dc:identifier>VIS 71.45.22</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>ahc071045022a.jpg</dc:identifier><dc:rights>http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/</dc:rights><dc:source>Floyd Jillson Photographs, Atlanta History Center</dc:source><dc:subject>Interiors--Georgia--Atlanta</dc:subject><dc:subject>Government facilities--Georgia--Atlanta</dc:subject><dc:subject>Georgia Governor's Mansion (Atlanta, Ga.)</dc:subject><dc:title>Governor's Mansion, circa 1968</dc:title><dc:type>StillImage</dc:type></oai_dc:dc>
