In 1968, they won the inaugural North American Soccer League championship at their home field, the Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. The team was sold in 1972 and was briefly re-branded as the Atlanta Apollos in 1973, where they played their home games at Grant Field. Due to poor performance, the team folded at the end of the season. It was briefly resurrected between 1979-1981, again as the Atlanta Chiefs, by Dick Cecil and Ted Turner.</dc:description><dc:format>video/mp4</dc:format><dc:publisher>Atlanta, Ga. : Kenan Research Center, Atlanta History Center</dc:publisher><dc:rights>http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC-EDU/1.0/</dc:rights><dc:source>Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce visual arts materials</dc:source><dc:source>Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce records, MSS 1077, Kenan Research Center at the Atlanta History Center</dc:source><dc:subject>Sports--Georgia--Atlanta</dc:subject><dc:subject>Soccer--Georgia--Atlanta</dc:subject><dc:subject>Stadiums--Georgia--Atlanta</dc:subject><dc:subject>Atlanta Chiefs (Soccer team)</dc:subject><dc:title>Atlanta Chiefs</dc:title><dc:type>MovingImage</dc:type></oai_dc:dc>
