Its first building was completed in 1902 at the corner of Forest Avenue and North Boulevard, but the church was destroyed in the Great Atlanta Fire on May 21, 1917. A new building was erected at the corner of Boulevard and Ponce de Leon Avenue in 1922 where the congregation met until 1954.
